Overview

The Golden Circle Gourmet is a private, full-day tour through Iceland's most celebrated natural landmarks – tailored entirely to your group. Starting with door-to-door pickup in Keflavík or Reykjavík, you'll explore the tectonic drama of Þingvellir National Park, watch the Strokkur geyser erupt at the Geysir geothermal area, and stand before the thundering power of Gullfoss waterfall.

A unique detour to the Friðheimar Tomato Farm adds something most tours miss: a farm-to-table lunch inside a geothermally heated greenhouse, surrounded by tomato plants and the story of sustainable Icelandic farming. The day closes with the vivid colours of the Kerið volcanic crater and a private drop-off back at your starting point.

Because this is a private tour, your group has the exclusive attention of an expert guide and a dedicated vehicle all day. The pace is flexible and entirely yours – stop as long as you like, ask as many questions as you want.

Itinerary

08:00 / 08:30

Door-to-door pickup at your accommodation in Keflavík (08:00) or Reykjavík (08:30). Private transport for your group only.

Þingvellir National Park

UNESCO World Heritage site – walk through the rift valley where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates diverge. The birthplace of the world's oldest parliament.

Geysir Geothermal Area

Stand close to Strokkur as it erupts every few minutes. Explore bubbling mud pools and steaming vents at your own pace.

Gullfoss

The 'Golden Waterfall' – the powerful Hvítá river thundering into a deep rugged canyon. Stay as long as you like for the perfect shot.

Friðheimar Tomato Farm

Lunch inside a geothermally heated greenhouse at this family-run farm. Fresh, seasonal food in an unforgettable setting. Lunch not included in the tour price.

Kerið Volcanic Crater

A 3,000-year-old crater lake with vivid red volcanic rock and a striking neon-blue lake at its bottom.
